Re-Domicilation explained

Bermuda

Hong Kong’s re‑domiciliation regime enables a Bermuda‑incorporated company to migrate its place of incorporation to Hong Kong without winding up or forming a new entity. The company continues as the same legal person, with its corporate history, assets, contracts, liabilities and ongoing business preserved, but becomes governed by Hong Kong law.

This provides Bermuda companies with an efficient route to establish Hong Kong as their legal home while maintaining operational and contractual continuity.
